Panera CEO to Discuss ‘Transformative Leadership’
Blaine Hurst, CEO and president of Panera LLC, will speak at 7 p.m. April 8 at The Center for Entrepreneurship + Innovation at Grove City College. Hurst introduced the Panera 2.0 initiative to enhance guest experiences by enabling technology and launching its delivery initiative. Panera currently processes more than 28% of its orders digitally with digital sales reaching nearly $1.2 billion in 2017. Fast Casual Magazine, a trade journal for restaurants like Panera, has named Hurst as one of its “movers and shakers.” His appearance at the college is sponsored by the Richard G. Staley Visionary Entrepreneur Speaker Series.
