Parkman Road Rite Aid Sells for $1.9M

WARREN, Ohio – A Michigan-based company has purchased the Rite Aid on Parkman Road in Warren for $1.9 million.

Alpaq Enterprises, based in the Detroit suburb of Southfield, closed on the deal Aug. 17.

The previous owner, 1560 Parkman LLC, bought the property just over two months earlier – June 8 – for $1.5 million.

According to the Trumbull County Auditor’s office, Alpaq Enterprises owns several adjacent parcels on Drexel Avenue Northwest and frontage along Parkman Road. No address is given for the properties, but the county’s parcel map shows Alpaq as the owner of four lots, plus the store itself at 1560 Parkman Road NW.

There appears to be little information on Alpaq Enterprises online. A search of the registered businesses on file with both the Ohio Secretary of State and Michigan Secretary of State turn up no results.

A Google search for the name turns up two relevant results: The Business Journal’s weekly listing of real estate transactions in the county and FLCompanyRegistry.com, which says the company was incorporated Aug. 10 by an agent in Miami Beach, Fla.

Searching the address of Alpaq listed on the Trumbull County Auditor’s site turns up an apartment building in Southfield, Mich.

The Rite Aid building, according to the auditor’s website, was built in 1999.
