Pecchia Comm Promotes Hulea to Project Director

CANFIELD, Ohio — Pecchia Communications this week announced that it has promoted Kelli Hulea to project director.

Hulea had been a project manager since joining the public relations firm in 2017. She will continue to direct and execute content marketing, writing, editing, media relations, website development, social media and communications planning activities for a wide range of clients and the firm itself.

“Kelli’s ability to manage many responsibilities together has brought depth and strength to our client relationships,” said Dan Pecchia, the company’s founder and president. “Her growing capabilities in both execution and leadership give Pecchia Communications greater opportunities for continued success.”

Before joining Pecchia Communications in mid-2017, Hulea worked in recruitment and research roles with Quicken Loans in Cleveland and the Youngstown Business Incubator.

She graduated summa cum laude from Youngstown State University with a bachelor of arts degree in Communication Studies and holds a master of arts in Communication Studies from Kent State University. She and her husband, Gannon, live in Canfield.

Hulea serves as district chairperson for Rotary International’s Short-Term Youth Exchange program. She spent 10 months in Brazil in 2011-12 as a Youth Exchange participant and lived in Italy for two months while studying in 2016.
