Pecchia Communications Names Bissell Project Director

CANFIELD, Ohio — Pecchia Communications announced this week that Brittany Bissell, a former television news reporter and anchor, has joined the company as project director.

Bissell was most recently public relations and marketing coordinator at the Trumbull County Educational Service Center in Niles. There she spearheaded digital, video and print projects for school superintendents and their teams.

“Brittany’s experience in multimedia journalism and public relations is ideally suited to our work and our plans to grow,” says Dan Pecchia, president of Pecchia Communications. “We’re looking forward to introducing more organizations to our expanded capabilities and our affordable approach to delivering them.”

Bissell was a reporter and weekend anchor and producer for WKBN-TV. Before joining Channel 27, she was a sports reporter and anchor for WFMJ-TV . She has also worked in part-time roles with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Youngstown Phantoms and 93.7 The Fan Sports Radio in Pittsburgh.

“I’m excited about working with more organizations that can benefit greatly from multi-media news and PR expertise at an affordable scale,” Bissell says. “As business conditions move back toward normal, we’re confident we can deliver major value to those who want to see their PR and marketing activities reach a higher level.”

Bissell’s arrival follows the addition last month of Vince Bevacqua, a former WYTV Channel 33 anchor and reporter.
