Penn-Northwest to Mark 30 Years at Annual Meeting
MERCER, Pa. – Penn-Northwest Development Corp. will hold its annual meeting Oct. 29 at the Avalon Golf & Country Club in Hermitage.
The event, which will begin at 11:30 a.m., will mark Penn-Northwest’s 30th anniversary and feature highlights from the development agency’s history in Mercer County.
“Founded in 1985 following the decline of the steel industry, the founding fathers of Penn-Northwest had the vision to create an organization to market the county in order to attract new businesses and to support existing businesses to ensure the economic vitality of our community,” said Randy Seitz, the organization’s president and CEO.
Penn-Northwest’s Improvement Movement Team Champion Awards and Economic Impact Awards will be given at the meeting. William J. Wagner, chairman, president and CEO of Northwest Savings Bank, will deliver the keynote address.
