Those interested should apply in person at the plant, 1 Commerce Ave., between 4 and 7 p.m. today or 8 a.m. and noon Tuesday.
Pennex wants to fill 40 manufacturing positions that range from entry level to supervisor. “Apply in person and receive an interview,” the company promises.
On Aug. 7, the company showed off its expanded plant, enlarged to 275,000 square feet, that houses two new press lines. These lines, Pennex President Dave Riebe noted, can create specialized and customized aluminum shapes for customers, allowing the company “to do more with aluminum than ever before.”
When Pennex conducted its open house last summer, Riebe spoke of as many as 65 new jobs resulting from the expansion.
