Peter Allen Inn Hires Kinsman Native as Innkeeper
KINSMAN, Ohio – The Peter Allen Inn & Event Center has hired Kari White-Peska as it new innkeeper.
White-Peska, a Kinsman native, will oversee the expansion of the facility’s overnight programs. The inn and event center, built in 1821, was restored to its original grandeur and reopened to welcome overnight guests and host events in spring 2016.
“I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to become part of this talented, passionate staff. I love my hometown and the Peter Allen Inn is an exquisite historical highlight that Kinsman has to offer,” White-Peska said in the news release announcing her hiring.
Throughout her childhood, White-Peska said she observed her grandparents, who owned and managed small businesses including a bed and breakfast inn. She remembers guests returning year after year to stay and enjoy her grandparent’s heart-warming hospitality, something that she hopes to bring to the Peter Allen Inn, she said.
“Their hard work and generosity never went unnoticed and instilled values in me that I now pass along to my own children,” she said. “My experience growing up in our little town has given me an appreciation of country living and motivates me to continue to help Kinsman thrive.”
