Petry, Williams Inducted into Association of Ohio Commodores

On Friday, June 16th – Tim Petrey, managing partner of HD Davis CPAs, and Tyler Williams, managing member of Twin Realty and Leasing LLC, have been inducted into the Association of Ohio Commodores. Gov. Mike DeWine appointed the men to what some consider as Ohio’s most distinguished honor.

The association was founded by Gov. James A. Rhodes in 1966 to serve as a conduit for community growth and business development. Although it began as a nonprofit organization, it now partners with the office of the governor in its efforts to restore Ohio. Members have worked on projects such as helping Ohio to rank in the top-10 of exporting states.

Members include a diverse set of professionals in education, economics, manufacturing, and other industries. It also has members who hold seats in the governor’s cabinet.

“It’s an unbelievable honor to be inducted into this group,” Petrey says. “This is a group of people that truly care about their community. I’m excited to work closely with our business leaders across the state to help grow the quality of life both in our community and in our state.”

Williams says, “It is a tremendous privilege to be inducted into this group of very sophisticated individuals, representing some of the most impactful professionals. Over the years, I have had the privilege of watching the Commodores from the outside. Now that I am a part of the association, my personal goals are paired with members who share the same sentiment; to make Ohio the premier place to be.”
