Pituch Named President of Warren JFK Catholic School
WARREN, Ohio – The Diocese of Youngstown this week announced the hiring of William Pituch as president of Warren John F. Kennedy effective July 1.
Pituch most recently served as the vice president of academics and student affairs at Erie Catholic Preparatory School/Villa Maria Cathedral Preparatory School System. There he oversaw the $22.5 million expansion of Cathedral Prep’s Campus and worked with administration to merge two campuses. Pituch had previously worked as a social studies teacher at Cathedral Preparatory School. He also was an adjunct history instructor at the University of Saint Francis, Gannon University and adjunct geography and history instructor at Mercyhurst University.
Pituch earned a M.A. degree in history from Kansas State University, a B.A. in history, citizenship and education from Gannon University. Pituch and his wife have two children and he’s an active member of Our Lady of Peace Parish in Erie, Pa.
“Kennedy is a proud community that I am very much looking forward to serving,” he says. “In all of my interactions with the board, administration and staff, it is truly a family that has produced not just great minds, but also great hearts formed in the Catholic faith. I am hoping to advance the mission of the school to enhance, expand and enrich the experience of our students at all levels.”
Former Warren JFK President Joseph Kenneally has accepted a new position with Kennedy Catholic Schools in Hermitage, Pa.
