Pizza Joe’s Consults Students for New Pizza Idea

WARREN, Ohio – Fifth and sixth grade students from around the Mahoning Valley gathered at Kent State University at Trumbull to develop a new pizza for Pizza Joe’s.

Junior Achievement of Eastern Ohio and Pizza Joe’s had students break out into groups of four or five to discuss flavor and topping ideas and pricing to make and purchase the pizzas. They also created a marketing pitch to present to Pizza Joe’s in hopes that their pizza is selected.

Pizza Joe’s will visit the school of the winning team and test the pizza with them and their classmates, taking feedback from the students and eventually selling the pizza in their community.
