Potential Development Receives Surprise Contribution
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Tony and Amy Daprile, owners of The Daprile Insurance Group, made an unexpected $15,000 contribution to Potential Development last week.
The Dapriles originally planned to make a $12,500 donation, but during a tour of the elementary/middle school Feb. 21, they rethought their decision and added an additional $2,500.
“We were beyond surprised at Tony and Amy’s additional contribution,” said Paul Garchar, CEO of Potential Development. “They continue to strengthen Potential Development, and we are grateful for their constant friendship and support.”
The Dapriles have been steady contributors to the school.
“Tony and Amy Daprile support Potential Development in so many ways, demonstrating their belief in our mission and students,” said Crissi Jenkins, chief growth officer. “Their financial support allows us to embark on projects that positively impact our students. They are true philanthropists because they contribute where their hearts lead them.”
Last week’s donation will help establish an esports program at the elementary/middle school and support the Special Olympics teams.
“Every child deserves the chance to participate in meaningful activities beyond academics, whether it is competing on a computer through esports, joining with other schools for a track meet or playing in a basketball tournament,” Amy Daprile said.
“Potential Development creates opportunities for children with autism, and we are very proud to be a part of those efforts,” Tony Daprile added.
