Potential Development to Host Varsity vs. Alumni Basketball Game

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Potential Development’s Varsity vs. Alumni basketball game will take place at noon Saturday at Valley Christian Schools, 4401 Southern Blvd.

An eighth grade student will sing The National Anthem, and the Pep Club will provide halftime entertainment along with students performing an original composition on guitar and drums.

The game is free, and an alumni tailgate party will precede the event in the school cafeteria at 10:45 a.m.

Concessions will be sold during the event.

“Our students look forward to this game as the highlight of the season because it reveals their competitive spirit and also demonstrates the skills they have learned throughout the year,” said Debra Goshorn, sports coordinator. “Welcoming our alumni back for this game is very special as well.”
