Premier Bank Donates $15K to American Cancer Society

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Premier Bank recently presented a check for $15,000 to the American Cancer Society.

“We are so proud to support the American Cancer Society as they continue their steadfast fight to defeat cancer,” said Trish Gelsomino, foundation giving coordinator at Premier Bank. “Together, we’re making a difference in the lives of cancer survivors and their families in the Mahoning Valley.”

The funds were used to sponsor the 25th annual Tri-County Golf Classic that was held earlier this week at The Lake Club.

“The Tri-County Golf Classic is a nonprofit event that is run by volunteers,” said Kelly Roelen, senior development manager for the American Cancer Society. “We host events like this to help raise funds to enable the American Cancer Society to continue to saves lives by helping people stay well and get well, by finding cures and by fighting back against cancer. Over the past 25 years, we have raised $2.7 million through this tournament.”
