Premier Bank Donates $25K to the American Heart Association
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – On National Wear Red Day, Premier Bank announced a recent donation of $25,000 to the American Heart Association.
Part of the 2023 Heart of the Tri-County Heart Ball campaign, the donated funds bring Premier to the signature sponsorship level. The campaign is funding research, raising awareness and funding the work of the organization.
“The Heart of the Tri-County Heart Ball campaign is a year-round fundraising effort that allows us to keep our promise to those who are counting on us to ensure longer, healthier lives for everyone,” said Courtney Lockshaw, development director at the American Heart Association. “We also honor our loved ones we have lost along the way, who would be proud to see all the effort and advancements being made around cardiovascular disease and stroke.”
“We’re very proud to be able to help make a lasting impact by funding the lifesaving work of the American Heart Association,” said Trish Gelsomino, foundation giving coordinator with Premier Bank. “Together we can spread kindness and make the Mahoning Valley stronger.”
National Wear Red Day and the Go Red for Women initiative brings awareness about heart health and cardiovascular disease, the No.1 killer of women, along with a commitment to take charge of your heart health.
