Premier Bank Names Shaver EVP, Chief Risk Officer

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Premier Bank this week announced the hiring of Tina Shaver as executive vice president, chief risk officer. 

Shaver brings over 30 years of experience in banking and financial institution consulting. She spent most of her career at FirstMerit Corp. in Akron. She most recently served as senior director, deputy chief compliance and ethics officer with Treliant LLC in Washington D.C.

As an active member in industry forums, Shaver has served on the board of the American Bankers Association Regulatory Compliance Conference, co-chair of the ABA Compliance Administrative Committee and on compliance committees for the Consumer Bankers Association. She has spoken at conferences organized by the ABA, CBA and other groups.

Shaver earned B.A. in management from Walsh University. She is a certified regulatory compliance manager and a certified anti-money laundering specialist.
