Premier Bank Names Toot Mahoning Valley President
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Premier Bank today officially announce that Josh Toot has been named executive vice president, Mahoning Valley market president. He replaces Frank Hierro, who retired at the end of October.
“Josh has a demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently build and manage a successful team of commercial bankers in the Mahoning Valley,” said Vince Liuzzi, EVP, head of the Community Banking Group and chief banking officer for Premier Bank, in a prepared statement. “He is well positioned to assume the role as market president. He will provide a seamless transition and will continue to deliver a high level of service to our valued clients here in the Mahoning Valley. He truly understands the importance of doing the right thing for the bank’s associates, clients and the community. He is a great champion for Premier Bank and our core values.”
In 2017, Toot joined Premier Bank as senior vice president, commercial banking, where he partnered with clients to provide customized solutions for their businesses and generate new business relationships for the commercial loan portfolio. As Mahoning Valley regional president, he will work to define sales and service initiatives for the market, while developing objectives and measurement benchmarks for each line of business performance, the bank said in announcing Toot’s promotion.

Toot serves on the board of directors and as treasurer for Mahoning Valley Economic Development Corp., and also serves on the board of the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley. He coaches youth baseball for Canfield Baseball Club and football for Northeast Ohio Flag Football. In his free time, Toot enjoys volunteering at the Youngstown Community Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity of the Mahoning Valley, the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley, Junior Achievement of Mahoning Valley and at local fundraising events for the United Way.
He is a lifelong resident of the Mahoning Valley, and grew up in Lisbon. He attended Lisbon David Anderson High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from Hiram College in business/communication. He resides in Canfield with his wife, Jami, and their children, Regan and Cole. His office is at 275 W. Federal St. in downtown.
