Premier Bank Promotes Crew to Branch Manager

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Premier Bank this week announced the promotion of Thomas D. Crew to branch manager of the Newport Glen office.

Crew joined Premier Bank in September 2020 as a customer service representative at the Newport Glen office. He advanced in various positions at Premier Bank such as client service manager at the Kirk Road office and then relationship banker at the Canfield office where he drove sales goals.

In his new role as branch manager, Crew will work to effectively represent the bank in the Youngstown community while proactively helping clients succeed financially. “I am excited to serve the Youngstown and Boardman communities. I am committed to building lasting relationships with clients and empowering them to achieve their financial goals,” he says.

In 2024, Crew was selected to join the bank’s employer of choice committee, an internal committee designed to support Premier’s work environment and culture. The activities of the committee are focused on employee engagement, enrichment, productivity and efficiency. He also participated in this year’s Premier Bank mentor program.

Crew, who studied biology and music education – vocal studies at The Ohio State University, was recently recognized as a 25 Under 35 honoree by the Mahoning Valley Young Professionals. He serves on the auction committee member for the American Heart Association’s Tri-County Heart Ball and participates in The National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s annual Walk MS: Pittsburgh. In his free time, he volunteers for the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley’s Satur-Days of Caring, or tending to his collection of dahlias in his backyard garden.

He resides in Boardman with his wife, Amber and their son, Sullivan.
