Premier Bank to Start Work on Tower Signs July 14

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The new signage atop Premier Bank’s downtown Youngstown office will start going up July 14.

The two-week process will see the iconic red “Home Savings” letters removed and replaced with the blue P logo on the east and west sides of the tower and Premier Bank wordmark on the north and south sides.

Premier Bank is the new name of the entity created by the merger of Home Savings Bank and First Federal Bank of the Midwest.

“The Premier Bank icon, which is a dynamic P monogram, resembles a map location pin and emphasizes connectedness with people and our local communities,” the bank said in a statement. “This serves as a reminder of of our dedication to bringing people and resources together to make stronger communities in the places they call home.”

Once construction begins, daily time-lapse videos will be shared at YourPremierBank.com/towerproject and on the bank’s social media channels, which all use the handle YourPremierBank.

On Tuesday, the city’s Design Review Committee granted approval to Gardner Signs Inc., Toledo, to replace the Home Savings signs. Gardner submitted the request on behalf of the bank.

Following the merger, Premier Bank operates 78 branches across Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Michigan. The two banks’ systems will be fully integrated by mid-July.
