Premier Bank Tower LED Lighting Project Complete

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — CR Electric Inc. completed the installation of a new LED lighting system on the clock tower of Premier Bank’s building downtown, the bank announced Wednesday.

CR Electric rewired and installed the LED fixtures, as well as a new, brighter LED face on the historic clock.

The systems allow Premier Bank to change the colors and intensity of the lights. The bank will use the new color technology to promote, engage and inform the community, according to a release.

Eric Klingensmith, fourth year apprentice at IBEW Local 64, overlooks downtown as he installs a light fixture on Premier Bank’s clock tower.

“We are looking forward to creating a new tradition of changing the color of the lights on our tower to recognize important occasions, holidays and organizations in our Youngstown community through the year,” said bank President Gary Small. “We’ve had many requests to support our local organizations in this way and we’re happy to add this as another way we show our support for causes important to our neighbors throughout the Valley.”

CR Electric began work on the LED fixtures in October.
