Premier Bank President and CEO Gary Small thanked Hierro for his “outstanding leadership and the strategic contributions that have brought Premier Bank success in the Mahoning Valley,” as well as his leadership and advice over the years, according to a press release.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors and every Premier Bank associate, while he will be missed, we wholeheartedly wish him, his wife Barb and their family all the best in his retirement,” Small said in the statement. “Frank has been a strong advocate of our core values, delivering results and providing the best in banking. Frank’s priority has always been to focus on how he and the Bank can support our community and bring the greatest value to his clients. His commitment to our success is exemplified by the strong foundation and team that will continue his legacy.”

During his time with Premier, he worked to expand partnerships and initiatives “concentrated on delivering solid results while enhancing the community bank difference and building commercial banking relationships,” according to the release.
Hierro will be succeeded by Josh Toot, senior vice president, commercial lending manager.
“I cannot thank Premier Bank enough for the opportunity to work for an organization that values and prioritizes our customers, communities and employees as much as we do. I’m grateful for the strong, talented and energetic team that we have created here in the Valley,” Hierro said. “Congratulations to Josh as my successor. I will leave confident in knowing that he, along with the rest of the Premier Bank team, will provide a seamless transition and will continue to deliver a high level of service to our valued business clients.”
