Premier Promotes Hartzell-Waller to Senior VP

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Premier Bank announced Friday the promotion of Erin Hartzell-Waller to senior vice president, credit officer.

“Erin’s strong work ethic and team-oriented approach has made a significant impact on the commercial team’s performance and credit metrics,” says Mahoning Valley Market President Josh Toot. “Erin’s broad range of responsibilities has been recognized with this promotion during her time with the bank.”

Hartzell-Waller joined Premier Bank in May 2019. Since then, she has focused her efforts on building a strong credit team, enhancing credit policies and procedures, and reviewing lending opportunities within various markets.

“From training and coaching analysts to building relationships with bank partners and working together to meet the needs of the businesses within our communities, every facet of this role is extremely rewarding,” says Hartzell-Waller. “It’s exciting to see success within our markets and know that Premier was a part of the progress.”

Hartzell-Waller, who earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Kent State University and an MBA from Malone College, is an active member of her community. She has volunteered with organizations such as Akron Reads, The American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society as well as contributing to projects at her church and local high school. She was also recognized by the Akron Women’s Network for her contributions professionally and within the community. She resides in Salem with her husband, Brett and stepchildren, Baeli and Case and daughter, Georgia.
