Preserving Tributes to Veterans

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Bill Lawson, executive director of the Mahoning Valley Historical Society, shows some tributes to veterans preserved inside Tyler History Center, downtown.

“Almost every generation has a large group of veterans up until the current day,” Lawson says. “When they came back, and continuing afterward, our community looked at ways to honor their service and honor their lives if they gave their last full measure in the armed services.”
