Public Art Helps Revitalize Trumbull County
In part two of our Thoughts Leaders interview with Matt Martin, the executive director of Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership, he explains how the Land Bank and public art are helping to fast track revitalization in Trumbull County.
“I talk a lot about the nuts and bolts [like] housing, food access and organizing to get there, but we did a mural in our first year and it was really warmly received and it’s not a significant portion of our budget, but it is a significant portion of our work to try and make sure that we always do something around public art,” Martin says.
He goes on to explain the partnership between TNP and the Fine Arts Council of Trumbull County and what came as a result.
