Public Safety Students Get Hands-On Experience
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Choffin Career & Technical Center showcased its Public Safety Academy, which offers criminal justice, fire, EMS and telecommunications programs.
Students enrolled in the program get hands-on experience alongside professionals and industry standard equipment.
“The fire department that we work with fights fires on a daily basis, so there’s experience that is unmatched in this region,” says Michael Saville, director at Choffin Career & Technical Center. “We’re very proud to have that in our school and offer that directly to our students.”
