QuickMed Cuts Ribbon for Its 9th Clinic
RAVENNA, Ohio – QuickMed Urgent Care cut the ribbon this week for its newest clinic at 402 S. Chestnut St. here. The ceremony took place one week after the medical clinic opened in this Portage County community.
The company was founded in 2018 with its first location in Liberty. Ravenna is the ninth clinic it operates.
QuickMed provides non-life-threatening health services and primary care. Its clinics can assess and diagnose illness, disease and injuries through on-site laboratory, EKG and X-ray capabilities.
CEO Lena Esmail, a nurse practitioner, says urgent care facilities have been growing in popularity as an alternative to emergency room visits because their services are affordable, efficient and convenient.
Esmail says her goal is to redefine community care by providing convenient, affordable care through privately owned clinics.
All QuickMed facilities are accredited with the Urgent Care Association, which certifies the highest level of distinction for patient care through safety, quality, and scope of services.
