Raising Cane’s to Open New Location in Niles

NILES, Ohio – A new Raising Cane’s chicken restaurant will open Tuesday at 1954 Niles Cortland Road SE.

The location is next to Starbucks and in front of Home Depot in the North Commons shopping center.

It’s the second location in the Mahoning Valley. A Boardman location opened in 2019.

The new location has dine-in and take-out service. It specializes in chicken fingers and chicken sandwiches.

To celebrate its opening Tuesday, a variety of activities are scheduled:

  • A DJ will be on-site from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • A “Lucky 20” drawing will award 20 customers (age 13 and older) free food for a year. Entries will be accepted from 8 to 9 a.m., with the winners announced at 9:15 a.m. Customers must be present to win.
  • Scrappy, the Mahoning Valley Scrappers’ mascot, will make an appearance at 8:30 a.m.
  • Guests can take a spin of the Prize Wheel to win prizes.
  • The first 100 customers to purchase a combo will receive a commemorative T-shirt and a free box combo on their return visit.
  • A ribbon-cutting will take place at 9:15 a.m.

The Niles location is the 55th in Ohio. It will employ more than 100.

It will be open from 10 a.m. to midnight Sunday to Thursday, and from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
