Rally Gets Underway with ‘Unsung Hero’ Nominations

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Rally Around Small Business is underway and nominations are rolling in for the “Unsung Heroes.”

The campaign, sponsored by Home Savings Bank, unfolds throughout the month of May as The Business Journal promotes the companies that power our region’s economy and leverages our editorial resources to help them grow.

As the Rally rolls out, we will publish News that any business of any size can use, a compendium of how-to tips and educational articles on our Strategies page, as well as Resources that business owners and managers can consult.

Beginning this week, we’re sending a video crew to some of the businesses that have been nominated as “Unsung Heroes.” CLICK to nominate your company or a small business that you patronize. All nominees will be recognized in our print and online editions.

The list of companies nominated as “Unsung Heroes” is growing. Here are some of the nominees posted through the nomination form or on social media. Nominees span diverse industries, from health care, manufacturing and business services to retail and food service.

Nominations will be accepted through May 31.
