Rascal Flatts Reunites, Will Play Covelli Centre in 2025
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Rascal Flatts has ended its hiatus and will return to Covelli Centre on March 8, 2025.
The country music supergroup, which last played the downtown arena in 2013, announced its “Life Is a Highway” tour dates Tuesday.
Tickets for the Youngstown concert will range from $169.75 to $39.75 (plus applicable fees) and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, at Ticketmaster.com and the Covelli box office.
The influential band will celebrate 25 years on the upcoming tour, which ends a five-year hiatus.
“In 2020, we announced the farewell tour after being on the road extensively for 20 years,” the band said in a news release. “To put it simply, we needed a break. Then Covid hit and our plans came to a screeching halt, like the rest of the world. Since then, we’ve been able to revisit our unique and special experience as a band and we’re ready to get out on the road again. It’s hard to believe that next year will be the 25th anniversary of Rascal Flatts, and that felt like the perfect time to get back in front of the fans who have given us so much.”
Rascal Flatts will be joined by opening acts Lauren Alaina and Chris Lane for the tour.
The band members are Gary LeVox, vocals; Jay DeMarcus, bass; and Joe Don Rooney, guitar. LeVox and Rooney are natives of Columbus.
In its long tenure, the band released 10 studio albums and more than 40 singles, 16 of which went to No. 1. It also won multiple Country Music Association awards and was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2011.
Rascal Flatts’ list of hits includes “Life Is a Highway,” “What Hurts the Most,” “Bless the Broken Road,” “My Wish,” “I Melt,” “Mayberry” and “Rewind.”
