Reach for the Stars Helps Students with Disabilities

SALEM, Ohio — October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month.

Reach for the Stars provides real-life training experience for students with developmental disabilities and increases their employability.

“We work with students with varying disabilities – most students have multiple disabilities – and intellectual disability or autism,” says Kitty Kromer, employment and transition coordinator at the Columbiana County ESC.
