Regional Chamber Gives $5K to United Way
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber Foundation has donated $5,000 to the
United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley.
The money was raised through a VIP event with Window World chairman and CEO Tammy Whitworth, who came to the Mahoning Valley last month to keynote the chamber’s Athena Award dinner.
The United Way has several programs that help the community improve educational outcomes and build a better workforce – an important factor in growing the local economy.
The foundation’s VIP fundraiser also generated dollars for the chamber’s economic development efforts.
Assisting with the fundraiser were sponsors Window World, The Muransky Companies, ONE Health Ohio, Premier Bank, Blair and Latell and MS Consultants Inc.
