Regional Chamber Partners with EV Energy Group
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber members interested in installing electric vehicle charging stations now have a preferred provider to work with.
The chamber announced Thursday its partnership with EV Energy Group, a Chicago-based provider of electric vehicle solutions, networks and infrastructure. According to a press release, EV Energy Group works to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles “with a goal of making a significant contribution towards the transformation to a sustainable, zero-carbon economy.”
According to the EV Energy Group website, the company looks to deploy 10,000 charging stations in five years.
Some of the company’s charging stations feature digital media towers, allowing businesses to advertise or sell advertising and receive analytics through EV Energy’s “Insights” division, according to the release.
The company also helps businesses with claiming local, state and federal funds earmarked for electric vehicles, or EVs, and EV charging networks.
The chamber can provide a list of members to install the stations. Chamber members who choose EV Energy “will receive publicity around their decision to support Voltage Valley as well as a more environmentally friendly fuel source, with a news release and ceremonial ribbon cutting,” according to the release.
