Registration Closes Monday for America Makes’ MMX Event

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Registration for America Makes’ annual Members Meeting & Exchange will close Monday.

The MMX event, which will take place Aug. 15 and 16 at Waypoint 4180 in Canfield, will bring together the additive manufacturing community for two days of high-level conversations, presentations and panels. 

Attendees will be the first to hear about $18 million in open project proposals, including $12 million to be announced at the event.

The keynote speakers will include:

AUG. 15

  • Steven Wax, assistant secretary of the Department of Defense for Science and Technology (via video).
  • Huijuan Dai, program manager for the U.S. Department of Energy.
  • W. Jordan Gillis, specialist executive at Deloitte Consulting LLC.

AUG. 16

  • Timothy John Sakulich, executive director of the Air Force Research Laboratory, Air Force Materiel Command.
  • Danielle Miller, director of policy, analysis and transition for the Department of Defense.
  • Richard Martin, executive director of supply chain management, assistant deputy chief of staff, G3, Army Materiel Command.
