Registration Deadline Nears for English Center Classes

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Registration is open for free adult English language classes through The English Center of Youngstown. 

Classes run from Sept. 16 to May 15, 2025, and meet for two-hour sessions twice weekly. Both morning and evening classes have openings for all levels of instruction. 

Emerging Level classes are held in person in the Youngstown area, and Level 1 through Level 4 are live online. 

The deadline to register is Sept. 12. There is a $50 registration fee. Students can register HERE.

The English Center is a community-based school that focuses on conversation and daily living skills. As an inclusive, multicultural and diverse organization, it welcomes students of all races, cultures, religions and ethnicities. 

Last year, The English Center registered 174 adults from 46 countries. The nonprofit, charitable organization has been serving the Mahoning Valley for more than 100 years.
