Registration Opens for ‘Learn Local!’ Day Camps
SALEM, Ohio – The Columbiana County Educational Service Center, Salem Historical Society and Daydreamers Art Studio are hosting “Learn Local!,” a week long, half-day summer learning camp for students in grades 4 through 8.
The camp will focus on science-related topics such as circuits, robots, animation and problem solving, hands-on history (writing, calligraphy, antique toys and games, letter press printing and Victorian manners/dress) and art in a studio setting.
Students can register for one of the following camp dates: July 17-21 from 9:30 a.m. to noon or 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. and Aug. 14-18 from 9:30 a.m. to noon or 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The first day of the week all students meet at Reach for the STARS, 440 E. State St. The rest of the week students will meet at Salem Historical Society, 239 S. Lundy.
