Registration Open for Penn State Shenango STEM Camp
SHARON, Pa. – Penn State Shenango’s STEM Camp will once again be offered this summer to middle school-aged children. The week-long, day-camp runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 18 through June 22.
While many of the activities are held on campus, the campers will also travel this year to the eCenter at LindenPointe in Hermitage, Pennsylvania, and to Munnell Run Farm in Mercer.
“We are very excited to add new sessions to STEM Camp each year, so that even our returning campers will learn something new in the STEM fields,” said Camp Director Kathy Shaffer.
STEM Camp, which stands for science, technology, engineering, and math, will be available to students entering grades seventh and eighth this coming fall. The cost of the camp is $95 per week and is limited to the first 30 paid applicants
Each day, the camp sessions will feature a variety of fun and educational hands-on activities from a range of STEM subjects, including biology, chemistry, engineering, robotics, microbiology, and environmental science.
Registration for camp is now open. For more information visit Shenango.psu.edu or contact Kathy Shaffer at 724 983 2944.
