Residence Inn Niles Named 2022 Hotel of the Year
NILES, Ohio – Tharaldson Hospitality Management announced Residence Inn Niles has been named the Hotel of the Year for 2022.
Tharaldson Hospitality Management is one of the largest privately held hotel investment and management firms in the U.S., with a portfolio of more than 80 hotels in 22 states. This award recognizes excellence in guest satisfaction, operational performance and overall quality.

Residence Inn Niles is part of the Marriott International family of hotels, offering studio, one- and two-bedroom suites. Each comes with fully equipped kitchens and separate living areas.

Carrie Biery, general manager, said she is proud of her team, which has come a long way since being acquired by Tharaldson Hospitality in 2019.
Juliann Beatty, regional director of sales, said the award was revealed at the biennial conference of Tharaldson Hospitality Management by Dean Manternachs, vice president of operations.
The competition included 84 properties, and the winner was announced during a Cozumel Cruise where Tharaldson Hospitality Management hoteliers had gathered.
