Reyers Sees Many Changes in Footwear Industry
NILES, Ohio — Throughout the 136 years Reyers Shoe Store has been in business, there have been many changes in the footwear industry.
“It is unfortunate that the United States has lost most of the shoe making business. There’s still a few companies out there that makes shoes in the United States, but by and large the shoe has gone overseas.” says Steven Jubelirer, vice president of Reyers Shoe Store.
Jubelirer also discusses the store’s move from Sharon into the Eastwood Mall in Niles.
