Ribbon Cutting: Cadence Coffeehouse & Creperie
NILES, Ohio — Cadence Care Network held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of the new Cadence Coffeehouse & Creperie in downtown Niles.
The social enterprise provides vulnerable youth with job training and life skills.
“It’s not just a coffeehouse and eatery. It’s about helping young people in our community develop job skills; develop responsibility; help them feel like they belong,” says April Caraway, Trumbull County Mental Health & Recovery Board. “It gives them a chance to earn money and to learn a profession and to really just give back to our community.”
“It’s wonderful that the community has embraced our vision and where we want to go with helping kids and families,” says Matt Kresic, CEO of Cadence Care Network.
