Rock Band Ambrosia to Perform at Robins Theatre

WARREN, Ohio – Ambrosia will come to the Robins Theatre on July 18, 2024, at 8 p.m. Doors will open at 7 p.m.

Tickets for the 8 p.m. concert range between $49 and $29 (plus applicable fees) and will go on sale Friday, Nov. 17, at 10 a.m. at robinstheatre.com and at the box office, 160 E. Market St. A presale for members of Friends of the Robins Theatre will start at 10 a.m. Thursday.

Ambrosia’s hit songs from the late 1970s include “How Much I Feel,” “You’re the Only Woman” and “Biggest Part of Me.”

The band formed in Los Angeles in 1970 with members Joseph Puerta, Christopher North, David Pack and Burleigh Drummond. Today, Ambrosia is three of the original members (Puerta, Drummond and North) plus guitarist Doug Jackson, contributing keyboardist Mary Harris and lead singer Kipp Lennon.

Originally labeled as America’s answer to English progressive rock bands Yes and King Crimson, the group garnered five Grammy Award nominations in its early years.

In 2015, Ambrosia released a new single, “Hopes and Dreams,” which was featured on the Fox series “The Sparrows.”
