Rockin’ on the River Concert Series Coming to Downtown Sharon

SHARON, Pa. – Downtown will be rockin’ this summer.

The Rockin’ on the River Summer Concert Series will kick off June 28 at the downtown green space at 1 E. State St., the former site of Huntington Bank.

Grandview Soul will provide an evening of Motown, soul, funk, rock and pop music. The event, from 6 to 9 p.m., will also feature a 50/50 raffle. Food trucks will be on-site, including Haitian Sensation and Sweet Sips.

Takeout will be available at several downtown restaurants, including The Block, Our Gang’s, Allie’s Sweet Tooth, Sharon Hotdog Shop, Elephant #8, Firebean Espresso, Niko & Lou’s Coney Island, Giovanni’s, Quaker Steak & Lube and Donna’s Diner.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs.

The concert series will continue July 19 with My So-Called 90s Band. The Labra Brothers will perform Aug. 16.
