Run, Jump, Fly for Holidays at Oh Wow!
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — A traveling exhibit lets kids channel their inner superhero during the holiday season.
The Run! Jump! Fly! Adventures in Action exhibit will be featured through Jan. 6 at the Oh Wow! The Roger & Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science & Technology. The exhibit was created by the Minnesota Children’s Museum and is here courtesy of the Frank & Pearl E. Gelbman Foundation.
Oh Wow! is open daily during the holidays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., but is closed Dec. 25. It’s open on Dec. 26 until 8 p.m.
In addition to Run! Jump! Fly!, guests can take part in seasonal Make! sessions and special programs, including Sip & Make! Crystals from noon to 2 p.m. Dec. 22, grandparents explore free and a bath bomb Make! session from 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 26, and Make! Hovercrafts from noon t0 2 p.m. Dec. 29.
On New Year’s Eve, the Wow! Pals will be on hand for the celebration and visitors with a wrist band can start exploring at 5 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in time for First Night Youngstown fireworks at 9 p.m. Oh Wow! is closed Jan. 1.
First Night wrist bands will be available for purchase at Oh Wow! early next week.
