Paul F. Russo is the newly appointed president of the George A. Mitchell Co. in Boardman. The company produces push-pointing equipment for the tube and rod drawing industry and develops special cold-forming processes and machines for the production of tubular parts. During the course of his career, Russo’s R&D work has advanced the design and manufacture of cold-forming machines for the automotive, sporting goods, energy and related industries. He has been employed by the company since 1984, and was named vice president in 2007 after he became a partner in the business. “Paul has built an impressive track record of operational and sales accomplishments,” says George A. Mitchell, who founded the company in 1963. Mitchel is 91 and will become chairman of the board while remaining active in a limited capacity, he says.
