Ryan Named to YSU Board of Trustees

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Gov. Mike DeWine has named attorney Allen L. Ryan as the newest member of the Youngstown State University board of trustees. 

Ryan, director of corporate affairs for Covelli Enterprises, will serve a nine-year term through April 2028. He replaces Delores Crawford, whose term has expired. 

At Covelli Enterprises he directs the human resources, recruitment and public relations/marketing departments, serves as in-house counsel and manages the workers’ compensation program. 

With a juris doctorate from Capital University Law School, he was previously a partner in Ryan and Associates in Niles and an associate at Harrington, Hoppe and Mitchell. 

Ryan is a former campaign manager for U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan, a member of the Ohio State and Trumbull County bar associations and president of the board at John F. Kennedy Catholic Schools.
