Recognizing Local Impact in Business and Community

SALEM, Ohio – Business and community leaders gathered Wednesday afternoon at the Salem Community Center to join the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce in celebrating those who have made a positive impact in their community.

Those who were honored are:

  • Outstanding Citizen of the Year: Sandra O’Donnell.
  • Small Business of the Year: Myers Family Insurance.
  • Large Business of the Year: Farm & Dairy.
  • Non-Profit Organization of the Year: Salem Kiwanis Club.

“Our board meets in the summer of each year, and we talk about the groups, businesses and people who have had the most impact,” says Brian Whitehill, president of the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce.
