Salem Market Place Retail Plaza Sold for $2M

SALEM, Ohio – A Perry Township retail plaza has sold this week for $2 million, nearly twice the amount of the appraised value.

Salem Market Place, across the parking lot from a Walmart store and with its back to state Route 14, is currently the home of two restaurants – Little Caesars and Hibachi – as well as Supercuts, The Gadget Lab, Sally Beauty Supply, Vapors, GameStop, Boost Mobile and Drayer Physical Therapy.

The 1,485-square-foot plaza was built in 2003 after the opening of the Walmart store in March 2003. The 1.34-acre site has changed hands seven times.

This most recent transaction was a purchase by Sammarsa MTN View LLC of Mountain View Development LLC, which had obtained it from 2955 Salem Ohio Center LLC without compensation in 2018. Sammarsa MTN View LLC was registered with the state in March 2023 by Ramanadham Abbu of Mason, Ohio.
