Salem Regional Cancer Center Welcomes Garwood-Wilhelm
SALEM, Ohio – Certified family nurse practitioner Betsy Garwood-Wilhelm, this week joined oncologist Ayla Kessler at the University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center at Salem Regional Medical Center.
As an advanced practice provider, she will work under the oversight of Kessler to assist oncology patients through the stages of their cancer treatment.
Wilhelm earned her B.S. in nursing from Kent State University and her M.S. in nursing – family nurse practitioner degree from Chamberlain University.
She joined SRMC over 17 years ago, where she has worked as an RN on the medical-surgical, intensive care, and step-down units. Her professional memberships include the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Phi Pi Chapter; American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses.
