Samantha Turner Sets Sights High
When asked if she sees herself becoming mayor one day, Youngstown Councilwoman Samantha Turner said, “Becoming mayor might be in the cards one of these days, but right now I’m just learning and growing in this position and seeing what I can do as a legislator in this city.”
When speaking about her son, she says “It’s important for young African American children to see someone that looks like them making changes, making positive strides and doing things in their community.”
