Sauer to Speak at Women’s Networking Event
WARREN, Ohio – Diane Sauer will be the featured speaker Jan. 10 at the Warren YWCA’s Networking to Empower Women Night, discussing her career and experiences as an entrepreneur. The meeting will be held at the YWCA of Warren, 375 N. Park Ave.
The meeting, which begins at 5 p.m., is free. The first half of the networking event will allow those attending to mingle and sample products and services from local woman-owned businesses. Sauer, owner of Diane Sauer Chevrolet, will speak at 5:45 p.m.
Sauer started as an accounting clerk at Martin Chevrolet in 1975. Two years later she was promoted to office manager and in 1983, she was named general manager. In 1994, Sauer bought the dealership.
She is an active philanthropist in the Warren area, working with Trumbull 100, Rotary Club of Warren, Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley and Children’s Rehabilitation Center of Warren.
