Scrappers Prep for MLB Draft League
The Mahoning Valley Scrappers faced a number of hurdles in 2020. First they had survive a canceled season due to COVID-19. Then they lost their affiliation with the Cleveland Indians.

The MLB Draft League is a wood-bat league that will feature draft prospects who will play in front of scouts and fans. The league is composed of six teams that were lost their MLB affiliation in 2020.
The league will not have divisions, but will feature primary opponents due to the unbalanced schedule. The Scrappers’ primary opponent is the West Virginia Black Bears. Mahoning Valley will open the season on May 24 at West Virginia.
