Serving Brews & Brewing Coffee at Steel Valley Brew Works
BOARDMAN, Ohio — Joshua Langenheim is the founder and co-owner of Stonefruit Coffee Co. Since opening seven years ago in Canfield, Stonefruit has expanded its footprint and now boasts five locations.
In the beginning of 2022, Langenheim will open a new venture called Steel Valley Brew Works inside the Southern Park Mall. It will feature coffee roasted on-site, beer from local breweries, 10 pinball machines and two indoor bocce courts.
“I wanted to add that Youngstown flair so that when you walked in this door you felt that sense of Youngstown pride,” Langenheim says. “We’re really pushing the fact that Youngstown is a great place and we can do great, big things and this is my version of a great, big thing in Youngstown.”
Langenheim says he hopes to have the doors of Steel Valley Brew Works open by Jan. 15.
“That’s really going to be based on the people that we can find to help us, our staffing and then some processes that we need to get in place,” he says.
